MONDAY SPRING TINKERS Group (Waitlist only)

Due to the small size of our Tinkers group and its focus on developing and deepening social connection over time, we allow previous participants early bird registration access to sign up for the next series before opening it to the public. This spring, all of the participants from the winter series re-enrolled, meaning we do not have any spots open for new families to join. Please join the waitlist so if a spot opens up, we can let you know! 

This is a small group, limited to only four kids. It will run for 8 weeks on Mondays, from April 1st - May 20th.

(Extra make up sessions: 6/10 and 6/17) 

Where: Glen Canyon Park, San Francisco

Time: 3:45-5:15 on Mondays

Bearfoot OT’s nature-based social groups meet your child where they are. The Tinkers group offers hands-on, motivating activities in a sensory-rich and small group setting to target development in:

               ·  Authentic play with peers

               ·  Problem solving independently and with other people

               ·  Self-advocacy for needs and preferences

               ·  Communication: Verbal and/or non-verbal

               ·  Self-regulation and co-regulation

               ·  Sharing spaces and ideas with others

               ·  Following a group plan

               ·  Sensory processing, fine motor, and gross motor play

 

Details:

    ·  8-week series

               ·  Limited to 4 kids only (TK and Kinder)

               ·  Led by a skilled pediatric OT

               ·  30-minute Zoom meeting with lead OT any time during group

               ·  Weekly group debrief on Google Classroom 

               ·  Weekly access to an online platform for sharing resources and connecting

               ·  Price : $800  

A current (less than 12 months) OT evaluation is required to participate in group. If you don't have one, we will complete an abbreviated evaluation for an additional $300. You may register for group and then complete the evaluation after registration.
